It is mainly used for air cleaner, air condition and etc. It is easy to be made into any shape ,has low resistance of airflow and pressure falloff.

Photocatalyst Filt Screen is made by loading photocatalyst on different materials.It is always combined with activated carbon. Activated carbon is used to adsorbed Formaldehyde£¬Benzene£¬Ammonia and odors etc through abundant micro-hole on its surface.Shining of light source can stir up oxidation-reduction reaction to degrade the contaminants activated carbon adsorbed. Just like the chlorophyll in the photosynthesis of plants, the photocatalyst only supply the place of oxidation-reduction reaction and there doesn¡¯t have any changes in it. Photocatalyst is a kind of new environmental protection material widely used in air-condition ,air-purification and etc.

Reaction Mechanism:

When the surface of titanium dioxide (TiO2) is exposed by the UV£¼388nm light ,its inner will stir up hole-electron pair ,and the hole-electron pair will quickly remove to its surface and activate absorbed oxygen and moisture and occur free radicals (-OH ) and (-O2£­).At the moment ,chain degradation reaction occurs between the free radicals and kinds of contaminant and ado each other .For strong oxidation ,the photocatalyst can realize the function of anti-bacteria by destroying the cell membrane.
